Expertise Grounded in Experience
I spent 15 years as a Director of Organizational Development and member of the Leadership Team at two of Idaho’s largest and best-known commercial general contractors. I helped them scale to twice their size in short periods of time. I know what it’s like to be part of a winning team, and what it takes to achieve success in a high-risk/high-pressure industry. When I realized that every business across every industry struggles with the same problems, I started Headwaters OrgDev to share my experience and knowledge with more companies.
What sets me apart is the ability to see both the big picture and the small details that matter. I understand how culture, operations, and people are connected and why focusing on one without the others won’t move the needle. My work is about bringing clarity where there’s confusion, finding alignment where there’s discord, and making positive changes when it’s needed.
Above all, I know how to see people. I build trust quickly, create safety for honest conversations, and help leaders unlock their potential and that of their people. Whether it’s removing walls between departments, translating between the field and the office, or guiding executives to align their teams with the vision, I help organizations move forward and perform better.

Driven By Purpose
After years of building projects of all shapes and sizes, I realized the hardest problems were rarely technical- they were with people, systems, and processes. Teams in conflict with each other. Leaders who felt overwhelmed. Good people walking out the door because leadership didn't know how to listen, much less how to make change.
So I shifted my focus from building buildings to helping build companies that operate smoothly and where people are empowered, leadership is aligned, and systems make work easier instead of harder.
This work matters to me because I know what it feels like to be on both sides of a broken system. I’ve seen the toll it takes on people, the struggle of those trying to change it, and I’ve seen what’s possible when things start to click. A better work experience leads to better lives and better businesses.
